Patricia Ann Boldy (nee Conroy), resident of Concord, passed away on Mar 9, 2013, of complications of a stroke. She was born in Philadelphia on Mar 10, 1936, and moved to Michigan as an infant. She graduated from Detroit Business College and the University of Chicago with a degree in behavioral science. Pat moved to California in 1975 while a partner in the hospital consulting firm 3HB. She later formed her own consulting firm, Pat Boldy and Associates, and served as its president until her death .She also was co-owner of the Blue Diamond restaurant in San Francisco 80-81, and president of Pomeroy Ambulance in Walnut Creek 82-84. As a gourmet cook and elegant party hostess, her services were in great demand for large parties of family and friends. She was an avid gardener and supplied vegetables and fruit to the homeless for many years. Pat was a leader in all her undertakings.
Pat is survived by her husband of 55 years, Richard N Boldy; sons Richard K Boldy, wife Beverley, and Matthew M Boldy, wife Kelly; grandchildren Natasha Bajcz, husband Jimmy, Kyle Boldy, Jessica McDonagh, husband Mike, Samantha Stevens, husband Nick, Olivia Boldy, Tiffany Nagel, Heather Nagel, and Malachai Anderson; great- grandchildren Liam, Rylan, Teagan, Ethan, Alexis, Jimmy, Taylor, Adam, Cameron and Savannah; sisters Mary Jane Mahony and Theresa Conroy; sister-in-law Jeanette Tumey; brother-in-law Jim Boldy, wife Joanne; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Ruth Conroy; siblings Earl Conroy, Gladys Hansen and Margaret Schweikart; and a great-granddaughter Tamara Bajcz.
Viewing will be from 12-5 pm on Sunday, Mar 17, at Moore's Mission Funeral Home at 1390 Monument Blvd, Concord, 94520. There will be a rosary at 2:30 pm. Donations may be made to the Pat Boldy Memorial at Feed the Children, P.O Box 36, Oklahoma City, OK 73101 or by calling 1 (800) 627-4556.
