Mary Dolores Cunha Sept. 12,1921- Mar. 26, 2013. Lifelong resident of Oakley, CA. Mary, 91, proud of her Portuguese Madeira heritage served for many years as Secretary and Historian of S.P.R.S.I., a Portuguese society of Queen Isabel. She was also an active member of the Flor Do Oakley Club and the Luso-American Organization. A cherished homemaker, who loved to knit and crochet, Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a member of the Antioch Senior Center. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Joseph Lopes Cunha, and her brothers: Manuel, John, and Tony Gonsalves. She is survived by her sisters: Hilda Wilcox and Tillie Mazza; her sons: Gary Cunha (Gail), Roy Cunha (Lorinda), Steven Cunha (Laura) and Mark Cunha; and grand daughters: Megan, Elizabeth, Carly, Sarah, Marissa,Tessa, and Natalie. Monday, April 1st Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm, Vigil to follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel located at 2200 East 18th St. in Antioch. Tuesday, April 2nd, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 971 O'Hara Avenue in Oakley. Burial to Follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to St. Anthony's Church in Oakley, California.
