Resident of Fairfield, CA
Born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Len ended up in the Pacific Northwest. Len earned an ME at the University of Washington, then worked with Standard Oil Company, C&H Sugar and Sandia Livermore Laboratories. Sailing was always a part of Len's life with his wife Marge and four children in Walnut Creek. In retirement, Len enjoyed tennis, golf, and softball with the "Walnut Creakers." Always willing to serve, Len was Commodore of the Diablo Sailing Club, active with the Heather Farms Garden Center, and Chairman of the Paradise Valley Estates Landscaping Committee in Fairfield where Len and Marge most recently lived. Len is survived by his children Connie Bedinger Pitkin, Doug Bedinger, and Francie Carey Bedinger.
