Armando departed this life July 12, 2013 at age 92 years 10 days, at home with his son by his side. He was born July 2, 1921 to parents Arnaldo and Marian Marra in Richmond, later moving to Pittsburg. Armando served in WWII with the 102nd Infantry (The "Ozarks") from 11/42 to 1/46.
He met the love of his life; Mary Virginia "Gini" and they married in1948, moving to Concord in 1951. Their son Eric was born in 1951. Armando worked in Construction for several years before joining Fibreboard Corp., retiring in 1984.
Armando and Gini lived a full and happy life together. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Hiram and his beloved Gini (1997). Survived by his brother Arno, sister Lorraine, and son Eric.
A celebration of his life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday July 21, 2013 Moore's Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord. Please dress in festive, casual clothing.
