Sarah Cynthia Conger Greenacre passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at the age of 98. She was born in Ekalaka, Mont. in 1914. When she was 5 years old her family moved to Custer, S.D. by cover wagon. She married Bernard Greenacre in 1936. They moved to Fremont in 1958. When her husband died she moved to Springfield, Ore. She was in retail sales for 70 years. In 2006, Sarah moved in with her son, Bernard (Al) and wife Linda of Willows, Calif.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, one sister, and four brothers.
She is survived by her sons, Bernard (Linda), Ron (Vicki); 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Elmer in Ariz. and Charley in S.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed.
Service will be held Sat. Feb. 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at F.D. Sweet & Sons Mortuary, 114 N. Shasta St., Willows. Internment will be private in Fremont.
