Patricia Lee Glahn

Patricia Lee Glahn 08/15/1924 – 02/06/2013

Patricia Lee Glahn, age 88, passed away in Bellingham, Wash. on Feb. 6, 2013. Patricia was born to Guy and Mabel Ruby on Aug. 15, 1924, in Ringgold, Neb. After graduating high school as valedictorian, Patricia became a teacher, church secretary, B17 Riveter during WWII and married the love of her life, Raymond Merrit Glahn. Patricia enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, sewing, quilting, reading, family gatherings and gatherings at United Methodist Church in Bellingham, Wash.

She is survived by daughters, Cheryll Glahn of Bellevue, Wash. and Pamela Glahn of Blaine, Wash.; son, Guy Glahn of Blaine, Wash.; sister, Gwen Druery of Broken Bow, Neb.; brother Bill Ruby of Lander, Wyo.; grandchildren, Curt Glahn of Seattle, Wash., Erica Glahn of Oakland, Crystal Glahn of San Diego and Tyler Glahn of Ellensburg, Wash.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Glahn, on Aug. 22, 2003. A true selfless heart, who will be forever missed.

There was a memorial service on Sunday, Feb 10 at 1:00 pm, in the chapel, at Greenacres Memorial Park, 5700 Northwest Dr., Ferndale, Wash.
