Refugio P. Ramirez 78, of Colusa passed away peacefully on February 8, 2013 surrounded by his family. Born in La Piedad, Mich. Mexico, Refugio was a resident of Colusa for 38 years. |
Refugio was a hardworking field foreman for Carter Farms of Colusa until his retirement in 1996. Refugio will be missed not only by his friends, but his 5 generations of family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Juanita Ramirez; children, Mary Lou Lara (Salvador) and Raul Ramirez (Jody) both of Medford, Ore. and Barbara Swett (Michael) and Robert Ramirez both of Colusa.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Angela Sheley.
He was a loving husband, father and grandpa to 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. His family was his source of tremendous pride and joy.
He was a member of the Lirio De Los Valles Church in Colusa. A Celebration of Life service will follow at a later date.
