Gary E. Reichelderfer
COSHOCTON: Gary E. Reichelderfer, 67, of Fresno passed away at 6:27 A.M., Friday, July 19, 2013 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Canton, OH.
Born November 8, 1945 in Circleville, he was the son of the late Eugene Henry and Frances Elizabeth (Brady) Reichelderfer.
A graduate of West Lafayette High School, Gary had attended business school in Columbus. For over 35 years he was employed by the former Coshocton General Electric Company in various capacities until his retirement in 2000.
For over 30 years, Gary had been a member of the Coshocton Elks Lodge #376. He also was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #761 and the Coshocton County Sportmen's Club. Gary loved to hunt and enjoyed animals and all sports with the Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite. Drag racing also was exciting to him.
On June 26, 1965 he married Mitzie L. Reiss who survives along with a daughter, Brookie L. Harrison of Fresno; special friend, Bryan Johnson; grandson, Patrick D. Harrison of West Lafayette; brother, Donald M. Reichelderfer of Fresno; two nephews and a niece; and Gary's special partner, Little Buddy Buttons.
A Celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Neal Dearyan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette.
Calling hours will be held from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, prior to the funeral service at the Free Funeral Home.
Memoriums may be made to the Gary Reichelderfer Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 961, Coshocton, Ohio 43812. Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.
