Betty L. Bachman

COSHOCTON: Betty L. Bachman, 63, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on November 19, 1947, the daughter of the late Lister and Sylvia (Jennings) Reichley. Betty attended high school in Roscoe, Ohio, and was employed for several years at Edmont Glove Co. in Coshocton. She loved fishing, sewing, rides in the country, her faithful companion, her dog Hanna, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty was married on August 9, 1985, to Richard Bachman, who survives; also surviving are her children, Rebecca LaRue of Coshocton, Robin Andrews of Millersburg, Delbert (Shannon) LaRue of Newark, and Christy (Chad) Bible of Fresno, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd Reichley of Virginia, Harold Reichley, and Arthur Reichley, both of Coshocton, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Elmer; and two sisters, Martha Cutshall and Nancy Shearn.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio, on Thursday, March 31, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., with Father William Hritsko officiating. Burial will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery. The family will greet friends and neighbors at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m., and until service time on Thursday.
