KILLBUCK: Carrie Lou Snow, age 85, of Killbuck, Ohio passed away Wednesday evening January 30, 2013 at the Pomerene Hospital, Millersburg, Ohio following a short illness.

Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Killbuck Cemetery with Pastor Kenneth Smailes officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by Alexander Funeral home, Millersburg, Ohio.

Family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Killbuck Library or to the Holmes County Home. She was born September 18, 1927 in Killbuck Township and was the daughter of Robert and Carrie (Nyhart) Reed. On June 24, 1950 she married Clyde Kenneth Snow and he preceded her in death in September of 1968.

Carrie Lou was a graduate of Killbuck High School. She was a homemaker, a teacher's aide at Killbuck Elementary School, a secretary for Addressograph-Multigraph in Holmesville, and worked at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Killbuck Methodist Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Killbuck VFW, and the Killbuck Sorority. She enjoyed reading and was a wonderful cook. Carrie Lou loved family get together's, spending time with her grandchildren and watching their sporting events.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Sandra (Drew Barnett) Hargis of CA, Christine (Greg) Hardesty of Millersburg, Ohio, David (Barb) Snow of Ashland, Ohio and Mark (Heather) Snow of Millersburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Sean (Joyce) Hardesty of Charlotte, NC, Michael Hardesty of Millersburg, Ohio, Seth and Christopher Snow both of Ashland, Ohio and Jordan, Meredith and Nora Snow all of Millersburg, Ohio; two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Sophia Hardesty; two sisters-in-law, Roma Reed and Aggie Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold "Dick", Dennis, Ralph "Bud" and Max Reed; and two sisters, Goldie Taylor and Doris Doolittle.

Carrie Lou will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
