Charlotte Maxine Miskimens
COSHOCTON: Charlotte Maxine Miskimens, 91, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Sunday, March 3, 2013.
She was born in Coshocton County on July 10, 1921, the daughter of the late Edwin and Delphia (Sisley) Norris. Charlotte was a 1940 graduate of Roscoe High School. On September 14, 1940, she married Charles William Miskimens, who preceded her in death on March 4, 2003.
Charlotte is survived by her two sons, Larry (Robbie) Miskimens of Coshocton, and Steve (Connie) Miskimens of Pensacola, Florida; six grandchildren, Wendy (Dean) Richard of Coshocton, Brad (Rebecca Piceh) Miskimens of Gainesville, Florida, Jessica (Emil) Kaku of Valdosta, Georgia, Jaala (Drew Pierce) Miskimens of Coshocton, Shawn (Tammy) Miskimens of Marietta, Ohio, and Mike (Angie) Miskimens of Pensacola, Florida; 18 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; one sister, Beverly (Bud) Hersey of West Lafayette, Ohio; special family friends, Mary Lou Roller, and Sabrina Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte is preceded in death by one sister, Betty Miller.
Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 12:00pm with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating. Burial will follow at Roscoe Cemetery.
