John T. Crater

FORT PIERCE, FL: John T. Crater, 55, died April 25, 2013, in Fort Pierce, FL.

John graduated from Coshocton High School in 1976 where he enjoyed and excelled in basketball and golf. He attended Ohio State University, was a member of Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) fraternity, and graduated from the University of South Carolina. John's outgoing and friendly personality was an asset to him during his career in sales and marketing with part of that career with Lancaster Colony. John struggled with illness later in life and was supported by his neighbors and community services in Fort Pierce, FL where he lived at the time of his death.

John was preceded in death by his father, David Crater, and his grandparents, Elmer and Ruth Crater.

John is survived by his mother, Fay Crater in Coshocton; two brothers, Christopher in Columbus, OH and Ed (Kim) in Dallas, TX; along with his nieces, Jenni and Michele Crater; grandparents, Ed and Pearl Hiltner inf Coshocton; many cousins; and aunts and uncles, Gordon (Wanda) Crater, Theda (Robert) Jones, Mary (Raymond) White, Pat (Merrill) Hull, Melanie Thompson, and Ed (Nita) Hiltner.

There will be a graveside service at South Lawn cemetery at 11 am on May 16.
