FRESNO: Franklin Charles "Frank" Brink, 68, of Fresno passed away surrounded by his family at 8:30 P.M., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville after a short battle with cancer.

Born December 7, 1942 in Fresno, he was the son of the late Rolland and Marie (Conrad) Brink. A graduate of Fresno High School in 1960, Frank was a 41-year employee of Ansell Edmont retiring in 2008.

Franklin will be missed by his beloved wife of 46 years, Ellen (Simmons) Brink whom he married July 10, 1965; a son Franklin Jay (Kelley Fullen) Brink of New Albany; a daughter Debra (Jason) Bercot of Coshocton; two granddaughters Leighanna Allman, Haley Brink; two grandsons A.J. Allman, Taylor Brink; brother Archie Brink of Frazeysburg; four sisters June McRoberts of Coshocton; Kathleen (Joe) Lang of Dover, Faye (Hugh) Hanley of Newcomerstown; Janice (Rodney) Haskins of West Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Wallace.

To honor Frank's wishes, there are no calling hours and a Celebration of His Life will be held for family members at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Life Ministries, 727 South Seventh Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812. Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.
