George Wesley Henglein

COSHOCTON: George "Wes" Wesley Henglein, age 80, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2013, in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1932, to the late George and Anna Marie (Lindries) Henglein.

He graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh with an Accounting Degree. Wes was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He worked as a Credit Manager for Universal Cyclops Steel in Pittsburgh, PA and Crucible Steel in Midland, PA and retired from AK Steel in Coshocton, OH.

On March 18, 1978, Wes married June (Rogers) Henglein, who preceded him in death on June 3, 2008. Wes was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church of Coshocton. He loved to golf and was a member of the Coshocton Town and Country Club, serving as the former Treasurer. Wes enjoyed going out to eat, watching ballgames, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, and loved spending time with his friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Beth Schroeder (John) Rotella of Reno, NV; two step-grandchildren, Laura Rotella of Alexandria, VA and Melissa Rotella of Centerville, VA; special friends and caregivers, Cindy Ashley an Jennifer Vandiver of Fresno; close friends, Dwyane Tuthill of Pittsburgh, PA, Don Diskin of Pittsburgh, PA, and Bob Ogdon of Ashland, OH; neighbors, Paul and Nona Berns; and many other good friends.
