Hazel M. Holdsworth

DRESDEN: Hazel M. Holdsworth, 86, of Coshocton, Ohio died Thursday morning, April 25, 2013 at Coshocton Memorial Hospital.

Born August 20, 1926 in Muskingum County she was a daughter of the late James L. and Emma J. (Whyde) Preston. Mrs. Holdsworth was a homemaker and she sold Stanley Home Products for many years. She loved to read her Bible and was a member of the Dresden First Baptist Church.

Surviving is her husband of 68 years, James O. Holdsworth whom she married November 24, 1944; two sons, and daughters in-law, James Allen and Brenda Holdsworth of Coshocton and Jack Lee and Kathy Holdsworth of Newark, Ohio; four grandchildren, Lori (Larry) Monroy, Amy (Rich) Lawrence, Valerie Holdsworth and Bruce (Felicia) Holdsworth; eleven great grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving is a sister, Dora Kaser of Coshocton and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Watson, Belly Wolfe and a brother, James Preston.

Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Dresden First Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Offenberger officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dresden First Baptist Church.
