Maxine Dansby Obituary
COSHOCTON: Maxine Dansby, 58, of Coshocton, joined her beloved husband Topper at 4:17 p.m.., Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.

Born May 31, 1952 at Cutler, Ohio, Maxine was one of fourteen children born of the late Harry Warren and Haley Marie (Harris) Lucas.

She was a graduate of Warren High School in Cutler and for many years she was a machine operator at the former Pretty Products, Coshocton until becoming disabled in 1991.

Maxine was an active dedicated member of the St. Andrews AME church where she served in many capacities including treasurer, stewardess, usher and lending a right hand wherever needed.

On February 14, 1982 she married William "Topper" Dansby who preceded her in death April 6, 2008.

In addition to a host of family members and friends, Maxine will be missed by sons, Scott Dillworth of Coshocton, Dan (Serena) Dillworth of Zanesville; daughters, Kisha (J. Smith) Dansby, Linda (Body) McMorrow, both of Columbus; three grandchildren, Faith Allen of West Lafayette and Candace Lee and Kianna Lynn Dillworth of Zanesville; a great granddaughter, Khole Nykol Achauer of Zanesville; brothers and sisters, Minnie, Belle, Blanche, Bill, Annie, Ann, Bessie, Sue, and Bob.

In addition to her parents; and husband, Maxine was preceded in death by brothers, Joe, Archie; sisters, Jenny and Martha.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the St. Andrews AME Church, Coshocton with Rev. Edward Henson officiating. Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the church.
