WEST LAFAYETTE: Pauletta J. "Penny" Crossley, 67, of West Lafayette, passed away at 11:10 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her home.

Born July 7, 1944 in Coshocton, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Anna Elizabeth "Betty" (Krieder) Jacobs, Sr.

A 1962 graduate of Roscoe High School, Penny had worked in the camera department at the former JII (Shaw-Barton) for many years before the company closed.

Penny will truly be missed by her loving husband, Frank Junior Crossley who she married June 9, 1962; two daughters, Shelley (Phil) Helbling of West Lafayette, Amy (Eric) Goedel of Fresno; her four grandchildren that Penny adored, Jason McFarland, Tara (Travis) Secrest, Dakota Goedel, Paige Goedel; great-granddaughter, Ashton Jones; a sister, Marjorie (Jerry) Mickey of Canal Fulton; three brothers, Harold Jr. (Lois) Jacobs, Mark Jacobs, Luke (Peggy) Jacobs all of Coshocton; brothers-in-law, Larry (Wanda) Crossley of Fresno, Doug Crossley of Coshocton; sister-in-law, Melinda (Mike) Guilliams of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Opal Hoppstatter, father-in-law, Frank Crossley, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Kathy Jo Jacobs.

To honor Penny's request, private family graveside services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at Coshocton County Memory Gardens with Pastor Mary Owen officiating.

Memoriums may be made to Hospice of Coshocton County, P. O. Box 1284, Coshocton. Envelopes are available at Free Funeral Home, Coshocton who is serving the family.
