James Edward "Jonesy" Jones

FRESNO: James Edward "Jonesy" Jones, 75, of Fresno passed away Wednesday April 23, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville.

He was born on in Coshocton October 23, 1938 to the late William and Garnet (Mullett) Jones. Jonesy was a member of Kill'em Buck Long Rifles, Brothers of Ivory Mountain, and Black Hand Clan, all Pre 1840's Rendezvous.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Roseanna (Bland) Jones; daughters, Nikki (Mark Stewart) Vatter of Fresno, Sandra (Skeeter) Reynolds of Frazeysburg, Cindy (Mike) Wilson of New Philadelphia; Brother Robert (Deloris) Jones of West Lafayette, Charles (Donna) Jones of Coshocton; sisters, Jeanine Bradford of Coshocton and Nancy (Jim) Chaney of Conesville; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his son, Scot Jones; daughter, Amy Sue Abel; brothers, William "Bill" Jones and Wilbur Jones; sister, Shirley Homles.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton on Saturday April 26, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00 Pm with Pastor Mike Rogers officiating. Per Jim's wishes a cremation with follow.
