KIMBOLTON: Daniel Dee Ringer, age 74 of Kimbolton, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Ohio State University Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 25, 1939 in the same house he lived in; the son of the late Lawrence E. Ringer and Lucille (Hatcher) Ringer.
Mr. Ringer graduated from Plainfield High School. He was a dairy farmer most his life. He had also worked for Cambridge Metropolitan Housing for 12 years. Daniel enjoyed tractor pulling and restoring International Harvester tractors. He attended and was a trustee of Bird's Run Community Church.
Daniel is survived by, his wife Carol (McAllister) Ringer of the home, they were married on November 8, 1959; their sons, Mark Daniel Ringer of Kimbolton, Matthew Dee (Cathy) Ringer of Kimbolton; a sister Ella Gail (Dana) McPeak of Coshocton and a brother Thomas (Jeanne) Ringer of Piqua; five grandchildren, Calvin Ringer, Kaylee Ringer, Hope Ringer, Kimberly Ringer, and Daniel Ringer; and several nieces and nephews; and special friends Darren and Suzanne Galbraith. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter Julie Ann Ringer.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home at 10 am with Rev. Mark "Ty" Stoffer and Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
