William "Bud" Darr Sr. Obituary
COSHOCTON: William "Bud" Albert Darr, Sr., age 66, of County Road 6, Coshocton, passed away peacefully on February, 18, 2011, after a brave fight with cancer. He was born on July 27, 1944 in Coshocton, to the late Albert and Mildred (Underwood) Darr.

On July 27, 1965 he married Sue E. (Wilson) Darr who survives. Bill worked at various construction companies, was a retired Master Basket maker at Longaberger Baskets where he was also a quality care QC, and worked at The Senior Center, The Meadows, and the Coshocton Animal Shelter. Bud enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue Darr; three sons, William A. (Stephanie) Darr Jr., Robert C. (Amy) Darr, and Richard B. (Darla) Darr all of Coshocton; 11 grandchildren, Charissa and Shelby Darr, Dustin Rhodes, Buddy and Hunter Darr, Crystal Sloat, Vikki Williams, Allison and Taylor Darr, and Kamra and Kelsey Watson; seven great-grandchildren, Kirus, Braxton, Alexis, Amy , Ray Ray, Ashy, and Emma; six brothers, Ted (Sandy) Darr of Dunkirk, IN, Dick (Kaye) Darr, Alan Darr, Tim Darr, Donnie (Judy) Darr, and Danny Darr all of Coshocton; one sister, Linda (Gary) Bowling of Grayson, KY; several nieces and nephews; and his loyal companion, Toby. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Watson.

The family would like to leave a special thank you to Amy Latham and Hospice for all their kindness and care with Bud. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home, Coshocton, with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Franklin Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11:00-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. An online memorial can be viewed at www.given-dawsonfuenralhome.com.
