COSHOCTON: Patricia J. King Holder, 80, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, with her family by her side. She was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on February 15, 1932, the daughter of the late Russell and Artemetia (Jones) Rose.
Pat graduated from Coshocton High School in 1950, and was a homemaker and retired from Edmont Glove Co. in Coshocton after many years of service. She was a long time member of the Presbyterian Church in Coshocton, Ohio, a member of S.O.A.R., and after retirement, she worked part-time in the nursery at Rainbow Day Care Center. Pat enjoyed traveling after retirement, and visited many areas of the United States, and also traveled extensively abroad. She enjoyed being with her family and friends. She married James Richard King on November 1, 1952, and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1993. She later married Kenneth James (Skip) Holder on May 25, 1996, and he passed away on September 5, 2011.
Pat is survived by her daughter: Cindy (Randy) Walling of Coshocton; her three grandchildren: Kim (Darrin) Wilson of Newark, Ohio, Scott Walling of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Jeff Walling of Coshocton, Ohio; one great grandson: Cameron Wilson, and one great grandchild on the way; two step-sons: Dan Holder of Coshocton, Ohio, Tim (Julie) Holder of LaGrange, Kentucky; two step-daughters: Marianne (John) Finton of West Lafayette, Ohio, Terry (Jim) Reed of Warren, Ohio; seven step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren; one sister: Gerry Coleman of Coshocton; one sister-in-law, Vera Rose of Coshocton.
She was preceded in death by one brother: Jack Rose.
A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave. Coshocton, Ohio, on Friday December 7, 2012, at 11:00am, with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends and neighbors at the funeral home on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 5-8pm, and until service time on Friday morning.
