FRESNO: Larry Farmer, 66, of Fresno, passed away at home on Friday, August 16, 2013.

Larry was born on November 14th 1946, to Leonard and Lois (Sturtz) Farmer. He graduated from Three Rivers High School, Roscoe in 1964. He retired from Buckeye Career Center in 2012.

In addition to his wife of 48 years, Cynthia (Dreher) Farmer; Larry is survived by his Mother, Lois J (Sturtz) Farmer; Mother and Father-in-law, Bernice and Brice J Dreher of Coshocton, Ohio; five sons, Ted (Carol) Farmer of Mountain Home, Idaho, Len (Audrey) Farmer of Moss Point, Mississippi, Alan (Paula) Farmer of Canton, Ohio, Matthew (Sarah) Farmer of Navarre, Ohio, Brian Farmer of Johnstown, Ohio; also surviving are 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, six step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; Brothers, Gary (Charlotte) Farmer of Cambridge, Terry (Paula) of Mechanicsville, VA; Sister, Julie (Don) Pepper of Coshocton, Ohio.

Larry was preceded in death by his Father, Virgil Leonard Farmer.

A family and friends gathering and memorial service was held Saturday, August 17th at Larry and Cindy's home. Larry's love of God, Country, and Family has been an inspiration and model to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
