Rachel Bowen

RACHEL KAY BOWEN, 49, passed away peacefully at her parents' home on January 22, 2013, after 3 years of battling cancer. Rachel loved the Lord and believed "she had this disease", so she could tell others about Jesus and what He was doing in her life. Rachel had such a positive outlook on life and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Rachel will be remembered for her strength, love of family, thoughtfulness, sense of humor and her love of music. Rachel never passed up an opportunity to sing.

Rachel is preceded in death by Brothers-In-Law: David (Bubba) Wesolick and Michael Wesolick.

Survived by her parents: Bill and Mary Hamaker, brother: David Hamaker and wife Lori and sisters: Becki Sloan and husband Jeff, Sally Pitchford and husband Bobby and Lois Wesolick. Children Brandon Bowen and Serena Branson. Grandchildren: Ethan Bowan and Lucy Branson. Beloved pets: Laycee Lu, Astro, Comet, and Stormy, Best friends: Joe Salazar and Steve Bowen. Neices: Jennifer Walker, Michelle Gilliam, Nikki Hamaker, Nephew: Michael Hamaker, Cody Hamaker, Justin Bouton, Nathan Sloan, Scott Sloan, Tyler Soliz, Ryan Pitchford, Garrett Pitchford, and their families and numerous Aunt, Uncles, cousins and friends whom she loved very much.

Celebration Services will be held on February 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm officiated by Pastor Joel Wilson at Lake Church, 1701 McCaleb Rd., Montgomery, Texas.
