Love is how you stay alive, even after you are gone.

Lord, by your grace we are made one in mind and heart.
Give us a love for what you command
and a longing for what you promise,
so that, amid this world's changes,
our hearts may be set on the world of lasting joy.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path. Maggie Alberta Daniel, you are the strongest person I've ever known.

Maggie Alberta Smith was born to Henry Thomas Smith and Lola Wilson Smith on February 26. She always wished she were born on February 28 and could celebrate her birthday every four years. Wish we could send her cards and bouquets of lovely flowers for her upcoming birthday. Mom, love you and miss you!

I have a life time of memories of you, Grandma. Some of my favorite times were just spending time with you reading books, enjoying a sandwich and some sweet tea. I love you.

What a strong, lovely, and gracious lady Ms Bertie was. Her sweet smile and positive outlook were a real inspiration.
Millard and I both cherish our memories of having her in our home for Thanksgiving Dinner. What a special time ~

Though you were not my Grandmother by blood, you will always be my Grandmother in my heart. We had the best times for the 30 years I bugged you EVERY day.
Ms. Daniel taught me so much and was a huge part of my life. I will always be grateful. She always said "Nita you saved me when I moved to Conroe" but really she saved me.
