Carolyn was born February 16, 1940 in Ft. Lupton, Colorado to Donald and Elwanda Plymel Clark. Growing up in Colorado she enjoyed skiing and spending time on the family ranch. The family eventually relocated to El Paso where she attended Austin High School. The Clark family moved once again and she graduated from Point Loma High School in San Diego, CA in 1958. However, while living in El Paso, Carolyn met and began dating her eventual husband, Frank Lowery. Carolyn married her high school sweetheart on August 17, 1958 at Point Loma Methodist Church in San Diego, CA. The couple had 4 children together and lived in California, Arizona, Tennessee and Wyoming before settling in Texas in 1978. Carolyn was an Executive Assistant at the Woodlands JPA for over 30 years before retiring in June 2010. She was very proud of her career there and made many lasting friends throughout the way. Carolyn enjoyed traveling, especially cruises. She loved gathering photos and keepsakes of her travels which she would turn into scrapbooks to share with everyone. She was an avid bowler and was always up for a card or board game especially Yahtzee which was her favorite. She cherished the time she spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn was always thinking of others and had a smile which brought happiness to all of those she touched.
