Rod (James) Chapman was born on March 14, 1953 and passed away on December 23, 2012 in Willis, TX after a lengthy illness. He lived his life doing what he enjoyed most, being a Soundman. He thrived building his companies Club Sound and Sounds Good. Rod had the pleasure of meeting so many interesting and wonderful people at his gigs. While on one of his gigs he met his wife Tanya. She became the love of his life, his co-worker and his best friend for 28 years. As he joins his Heavenly Father, he leaves behind his daughter Elizabeth, son James, grandchildren Jordan, Dylan, Faith, Danielle and Julianna. He also leaves behind his sister Rebecca Schoenberger, nieces Tracy and Amber and their children. Rod will be cremated and he had requested that no memorial be held. He said just have a gig and I'll mix from Heaven. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Embracing Hospice for the loving care they gave Rod and his family during these last six months. They also wish to thank everyone for all the prayers over the years.
