died unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his home. He was born in Iuka, Mississippi. He was a devoted husband, dad, brother, and amazing grandpa. He served his country in the US Army. He loved to work in his garden and watch his favorite Alabama (Roll Tide) football team. But more than anything, his family meant the world to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, R.L. (Rob) Orrick Sr.; mother, Annie Renfroe Orrick; brothers, R.L. Orrick Jr., Junior D. Orrick, and James Orrick; and sisters, Elvia Morrow, Eva Skinner, Hildred Moore, and Gladis Orrick. Perry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lula Bell Orrick; son, Perry J. Orrick Jr. and wife Sandra; daughters, Kay Haney and husband Tommy, Charlotte Brazzell and husband Jimmy, Peggy Thompson and husband Michael, and Sharron O'Quinn and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Selena, Bobbie, Amanda, Rachel, James, Jackie, Presley, Kayla, Aaron, Star, Chris, Tiffany, Benji, Kimmy, Cody O'Quinn, and Cody Martin Orrick; 23 great grandchildren; sisters, Cleo Weaver and Carolyn Stanford; his lifelong friends, Roy Bolton and Pug Orrick; and the many friends he made throughout his life.

Friends are invited to begin gathering for visitation at 11:00 AM on Sunday July 28, 2013 at Church of God 7th Day, 18745 FM 1484, Conroe, TX 77303. A 12 Noon funeral service will then be held with graveside to follow. Flowers may be sent to Eickenhorst Funeral Service, 1712 North Frazier Street Suite 115 Conroe, TX 77301 or make a donation in his honor to the American Heart and Lung Association.
