Bill succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 83. He passed away peacefully at the Nicola Valley Health Center (Gillis House) where he and his wife Morvydd had lived for a short time.
Bill leaves Morvydd and her children; Alan Noble (Trish), Randy Noble, and Linda Noble, grandchildren Renee, Krista, Kim, Kyle, Dallas, Kelsey, and Cole, and great grandchildren Cody, Caden, Paige, and Colt. He is also mourned by his twin sister Peggy Ledingham, his brother Arthur, and his many nieces and nephews.
Bill and Morvydd were married in June of 1968 in Chemainus. They later moved to Nanaimo and then to Logan Lake. He loved being on or near the water and spent most of his working years on the BC Coastal waters as a tugboat skipper. Bill was an avid fly fisherman and hunter. He was a skilled trap shooter, winning a turkey or ham at every Christmas trap shoot. We will all miss him.
