I read this notice and so many memories came to me about Mrs. Groff and her family! I was a young - newly married woman - when I started coming into the cleaners and Mr. Groff would be so warm and friendly! I got to know him well and then Mrs. Groff would be there at times and she too was so nice to me! I stayed a customer until the store closed and had the pleasure of dealing with Drew and his wife too. I would often run into Mrs. Groff in one of the department stores and she and I would have lovely conversations about Haddon Heights, families, - just about anything - she was such a delightful woman! The last time I saw her she told me the story of how she knew and married her second husband - I was so pleased she had found happiness again!
I was - really - just a customer - but Mrs. Groff - thru her charm - made me feel close enough to write these nice memories to her family.
My sincere condolences to her family.
