Clarence H. "Archie" Hoffman age 84 of Maple Shade passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday August 2, 2013. Born in Maple Shade he was a lifetime resident.
Archie served in the National Guard during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Holman Ford as an engine specialist. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, past President and gold card holder of the 25 club and former Scout Master for troop #28 all in Maple Shade.
Beloved husband of the late Jane (nee King) Hoffman, loving father of Edward C. (Linda R.) Hoffman and Jeffrey H. (Janice B.) Hoffman, cherished grandfather of Jeffrey J. (Danielle) Hoffman, Jeffrey H.Hoffman,Jr., Brian J. Hoffman and Christopher W. Hoffman, great grandfather of Julia D. Hoffman, devoted brother of Caroline McGill, Alberta Shaw and Charles W. Hoffman, and his long time special friend Dolores Marino.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 8th 2013, 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 26 South Forklanding Rd., Maple Shade, NJ. Interment will follow at Colestown Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday 10-11 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at the above address or Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr Suite 300 Marlton, NJ 08053. Arrangements by the MARK C. I just heard about cousin Archie's passing today, I was so sad to hear the news. Jeff, Ed, and families, you have my deepest sypathies. Your dad was one of the good guys, I know you'll miss him. So glad you had so many years with him.

Uncle Archie you will be missed, so glad I was able to visit you in June and tell you I love you.....and that Eagles Christmas card you sent that is framed and hanging in my kitchen every time I see it I think of you!
