IN MEMORIAM
Anthony Betances
1/8/1971 - 12/13/1994
Angelic child may your birthday today be a jubilant one in the celestial world together with your father. Although there is no reconciliation in a mother's heart for the loss of her only child, I thank our God for giving me the most precious gift in life. "You Anthony," a Christian, a humanitarian, an anti-drug-alcohol advocate, a distinguished scholar and a medical student. A noble young man whose short life was marked with excellence. You left behind a legacy of commitment to leadership, education and service to the youth with the establishment of your scholarship a year before your death. Oh my dearest son, how much I miss your sweet smile, gentle voice and tenderness of your touch. Please Anthony guide my mind, heart and spirit to possess the courage and commitment to honor your commendable work until our unification in the heavenly world.
Your mother that loves you immensely. Angela R. Betances
