Dorothy T. Dobzanski

(November 29, 1940 - April 26, 2013) Dorothy T. Dobzanski (nee Dunn), 72, of Gibbstown, passed away April 26, 2013, after a long-term illness.
Survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Edward, as well as son Edward Jr., daughter Susan Dobzanski and Marie (Tom) Paulsen, grandchildren Alexis Munyan, Lily Paulsen, sister Barbara (Phil) Trousdale of St. George, UT., brother Bill (Val), Michael, and sister Kathy Dunn, all of Las Vegas, NV. Predeceased by her parents John and Esther and brother Jack Dunn.
As a young girl, Dorothy traveled the world extensively with her family and lived for short times in England, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, and India, while her father helped start up operations for oil refineries. Dorothy attended Paulsboro and Woodrow Wilson High School (East Camden), graduating from Wilson with honors in 1958. She enjoyed a career in business, starting as a legal secretary and finishing as an Executive Administrative Assistant for Tyco Toys. Dorothy was featured in a May 1990 story in Toy and Hobby World titled "Managing in the Majors". She was extremely proud to be featured in the industry leading magazine. Dorothy enjoyed spending her time with family, especially her granddaughters. She was known as an excellent cook and baker, an expert behind the sewing machine, and enjoyed watching sports. She will be loved and missed by all.
A Memorial for Dorothy will be held on Friday, visitation with the family 9:30-10:30am, at the St. Clare of Assisi Parish (St. Michael's Church), followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Guardian Angels School, 150 S School St., Gibbstown NJ 08027 or the Gloucester County Animal Shelter, 1200 N Delsea Dr., Clayton NJ 08312.
