Heather Carroll Volkmann

Heather Carroll Volkmann, age 42, of Coconut Creek, FL and formerly of Magnolia NJ, died peacefully Monday, December 17, 2012 at home surrounded by family. She is the cherished daughter of Donna M. (nee Carroll) Kantrowitz and her husband Barry of Ventnor, NJ and Ronald C. Volkmann, Sr. and his wife Anne of Dallas, GA.
Heather is survived by her devoted fiance, Stephen Johns of Coconut Creek, FL; loving brothers and sisters: Ronald (Cindy) Volkmann of Mullica Hill, Jeffrey Volkmann of Ventnor, Denise Kantrowitz, of FL and Arlene Silberman of FL, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was born in Camden and graduated from Sterling High School in Somerdale. In recent years she worked as a bookkeeper for Pete's Restaurant in Boca Raton, FL. Heather faced her two and half year battle with breast cancer
with courage and dignity, maintaining her wonderful wit and charm which always made her an angel on earth to her family.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00a.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Catholic Community of The Holy Spirit Parish Center, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ. The family will receive relatives and friends for Visitation at 9:30am in the parish center. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Heather and in appreciation of the wonderful care of Dr. David Lessen and Broward Health North Cancer Center to: Broward Health Foundation, 12 SE 12th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.
