Roger J. Cassi, 86, of Williamstown, on Sunday, April 28, 2013. Born in Janesville, PA, formerly of Bridgeton, Roger resided in Williamstown since 1959. Roger was a proud WWII veteran serving in the United States Army and Navy. Mr. Cassi was a successful educator for the Monroe Twp. School District from 1958-1988 serving the positions of Teacher, Athletic Director and Principal. He was the Williamstown High School Boys Basketball Head Coach of the "Cassi's Cagers" the 1966 New Jersey State Boys Basketball Runner-Up Team. Roger was a founding member of NJSIAA and the Olympic Conference and is a member of the Gloucester County Sports Hall of Fame and the Williamstown High School Hall of Fame. Roger was a NJSIAA Track Official for 30 years. He was an avid golfer.

Beloved husband of Carol (nee Tozer) for 66 years. Devoted father of Karen (Charles) DiGerolamo, Roger (Debbie) Cassi, Fred (Cathy) Cassi, Michael (Christy) Cassi and the late Christina Cassi. Dear brother of Idella (Bernard) Kelly and Zatina (Harry) Veale. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to Roger's viewings on Wednesday 6:00-9:00 PM and Thursday 8:30-9:30 AM at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's Church, Main St. and Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the , 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
