STANLEY W. YATES (Jim) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the Virtua Hospital in Marlton, NJ. He was 84 yrs. of age. Born in Tabernacle, NJ, he is the son of the late William & Edith Yates. Stanley grew up in Medford, NJ and had many friends who knew him as "Jim the Barber," owner and proprietor of Jim's Barber Shop in Tabernacle, NJ and formerly Medford, NJ for 53 yrs. He is a veteran of the US Army in the 1940's and the US Navy in the 1950's serving aboard the USS Luzon during the Korean War. He was a member of the Cross Keys Gun Club, Past Commander of the VFW Post 7677 in Medford, NJ and member of the American Legion Post 0526. He is the Loving Husband of 57 years to Joyce Yates (Nee Gager) of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ and Dear Father to Bonnie Yates, Susan Yates- Walton (Harry) and Suzann Wardle. He is also survived by his Grandchildren Jamie-Sue Walton (Steve) and H. Timothy Walton. Also his "special" Grandchildren Jennifer Cerino (Frank), David Wardle (Stephanie), Jessica Ciezki (Justin) and Jackelyn Gelsomini (Louis) and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ.
