William Henry Robinson

William Henry Robinson, June 22, 1918 - April 8, 2014 Raised in Pittsburgh, PA. The son of the late James & Elizabeth Robinson. He was most proud of his track & field accomplishments from Taylor Allderdice HS in Pittsburgh, PA., later becoming a dental technician from the University of Pittsburgh.

In 1941 he began working for the PA Railroad and joined the Army during WWII serving in Europe and earning the Good Conduct, American Defense Service, European African Middle Eastern Service & WWII Victory medals along with an honorable discharge in 1945. Retired from the US Post Office after 35 years, moved to Willingboro, NJ., in 1966 until 2012 then deciding to reside in Pasadena, MD., with his daughter, Patrica and son-in-law, William Whitehead.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Ellen Abad Robinson, 6 siblings & 1 grandson. He was full of interesting stories and had a great mind that guided those close to him. He loved the race track and was always on the go. He will be dearly missed by his sister Lorraine Brown of Mechanicsburg, PA., son Victor Robinson of St. Albans, NY., daughters Velma Jean Robinson of Pittsburgh, PA., Patricia Antoineete & husband William Whitehead of Pasadena, MD., Melva Robinson of Columbia, MD., Stephany Robinson of Silver Springs, MD., son Key Clifton Board of Conyers, GA., sister-in-law Doris Abad of Willingboro, NJ., adopted daughter Connie Hougardy & husband Eric Brown of Cherry Hill, 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mr. Bill rests in peace now with God by his side in comfort. April 16, 2014 Asbury Town Neck United Methodist Church, 429 Asbury Dr., Severna Park, MD., viewing 9:30am, Mass 10:00am.
