Russell W. Rogers "Russ" on July 28, 2016 of Pennsauken. Age 88. Former husband of Virginia Rogers. Loving Father of Lawrence Rogers (Patricia Shepherd) of Delaware, Gale Rogers (Ron Baldwin) of Maple Shade and Shirley Spencer of Pine Hill.
Russ retired as a Tool & Die Maker from Magnetic Metals in Camden, was an avid high school sports fan and was a member of the Sierra Club.
He enjoyed Riverwinds Fitness Center and attending and supporting many high school sporting events throughout New Jersey. Russ also enjoyed the outdoors, spending time hiking, fishing, swimming and kayaking.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 10 AM to 12 PM in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Dr., Deptford, NJ 08096. So sorry for the loss of Uncle Russ . I marched in the Bon Bons when he drove our van and volunteered in many jobs with the corps. Always so sweet to all of us girls. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Uncle Russ

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. We knew him from my daughter playing for Medford Strikers and my other daughter coaching the team. He came to her high school soccer, basketball and lacrosse games. Russ was the best cheerleader you could have. He was always smiling and giving encouragement to the team. May he rest in peace. He is our new Angel.

Thoughts and prayers to the entire family. Russ watched and followed my sister and myself when we marched for Eastern colorguard and then he followed my daughters who both played softball at Eastern. A thoughtful and great man.
