Muriel Genovese Obituary

Muriel Genovese

AGE: 87 • Marlton

Muriel Genovese of Marlton NJ died on January 27, 2016 at the age of 87 while being comforted by her husband Michael (Chip) Genovese of 63 years and children Mike, Donna, Rosemary, and Judy. Muriel loved all children and was a passionate advocate as a teacher at Millbridge Elementary School. She was awarded Teacher of the Year, and made a significant impact on the lives of many of her students. Muriel graduated with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from the College of New Jersey while raising her four children. You'd often find her tinkering around in the yard tending to her flowers in her spare time. She was an avid sports fan, often attending her grandchildren's soccer, wrestling matches and rugby games or watching a professional baseball or football game. Her energy, passion and resolve will be missed by her husband, 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Guest receiving for Muriel will be held from 2-3:30 PM followed by a memorial at 3:30 PM on Saturday, January 30th at the Bradley Funeral Home located at 601 Route 73 South, Marlton, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Muriel's favorite charity for children, St Jude's Hospital (www.stjude.org).

Some of my fondest memories of Mrs. Genovese is her cooking spaghetti dinners for the auto body students at Vo-Tech. I have the utmost respect for the Genovese family. My wife and I would like to express our deepest condolences. With love & prayers. Joe & JoAnn Mozelewski
