Dolores Pearse Obituary
AGE: 82 • Broomall, PA
On June 2, 2013, Dolores (nee McCafferty) passed away surrounded by her family. Born in Philadelphia and a resident of Prospect Park since 1969, Dolores was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1948. Dolores attended and graduated Cum Laude from Delaware County Community College at the age of 59 and travelled with her graduating class to Italy. A teacher at Prospect Park Elementary School, Mrs. Pearse was a devoted parishioner of St. Madeline's Catholic Church in Ridley Park where she was a member of the choir and volunteered to run the White Elephant Booth at the Annual June Fete for 8 years. In addition, Dolores directed the plays at the DCHA and performed herself as a member of the senior citizen's drama club in Woodlyn, PA.
Mrs. Pearse is lovingly survived by her devoted children: Robert M., William, Dolores (John) Mozzillo, Mary (Robert) Mermer, Frances Duffy, Daniel (Patricia), Margaret (Samuel) Stafford and Christine (Joseph) Laird; 23 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by Robert J. Pearse and her sister, Catherine Koreis.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday morning beginning at 10:00 AM at Holy Eucharist Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, NJ. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment following at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Broomall Rehabilitation Center, 50 N. Malin Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Arrangements Healey Funeral Home (www.healeyfuneralhomes.com).

Chrissy and family, I honestly don't know what to say, so sorry for your loss!! I only met your Mom a few times but Chrissy and I have known each other for quite some time. Threw the years I have met some of your sisters and it is so clear to see from the women she raised what a wonderful women she was. You are all in my prayers!! Xoxo

Dear Chrissy and Pearse Family, I am very sorry for the loss of your mother. i have fond childhood memories of many sleepovers at the Pearse home on Carlisle and always remember Mrs. pearse singing, bargain shoppping and running a tight ship!... She had to with all of you kids:)...she was a very strong women and worked very hard to give her children a nice home! May you find comfort in the wonderful memories of a wonderful wiman and mother!
