Such a dear friend. And, NanoWriMo just ended! I always remember Glenn as "Nano" starts each November and celebrate his memory as I complete my writing effort. He was always such a supporter. Rest peacefully, old friend! I hear you writing somewhere in the universe. Tovli

NanoWriMo 2020 has come and gone. I still miss Glenn. It was his idea to dive into this annual tradition. Each year I would send a note to my "buddy section": "Hey Glenn...nice to "see" you again." I never actually met Glenn in person, only on cyber-space. I miss Glenn! I am thankful he cared about every writer he ever took the time to encourage. Tovli

I still miss Glenn. I ceased doing the online interviews we did together because those who came behind him just couldn't match his style. He loved writing and helping writers, and oh my gosh but he made me feel better as a writer. I see his smiling face in my photos periodically and stop and remember a wonderful soul. I hope Jennifer is doing well.

I just learned of Glenn's death. I am so sorry and extend my deepest condolences to Jennifer and to his siblings. Once we moved to KY, I didn't have as much contact with him, but I do recall him inviting me to Florida. How I wish I'd managed to come visit. Glenn, you were special and I loved your wonky sense of humor, your vast knowledge of media, and your unselfish support of other writers. I will miss you. (Mandarin oranges!)

Glenn, when I think of you, I see your sweet, kind smile. We love cruising and visiting and talking Disney with you and Jenn. We will still take pictures of every interesting french fry we meet for you. We will miss rushing to read your reviews and insights after watching a particularly confusing episode of Flash or Agents. We will miss your wry humor. You and Jenn are ever in our hearts and thoughts.

With love,

Cindy, Dom, Anthony, and Mia

This just hurts my heart so much. Glenn was such a good soul, and in the decade we knew each other online, we just clicked. He knew what to say to everyone, so smooth. He always said that I'd impacted his writing so much, but he was the key reason I kept coming back to the Chat Room where he moderated. He made me feel special as a guest, as a writer, as a person. I would've so enjoyed talking to him in person, over coffee. Oh my....I so wish we'd made the effort to meet in person. I sensed such a sweet man on the other side of the screen. I will really, really miss you, Glenn. Blessings to you, Jennifer. You married a wonderful gent.

Glenn,

I am so glad that we grew closer in the last 10 years. It meant more to me, than you can imagine. We understood each other's sense of humor. I was able to talk to you, like I did with our father.

I am going to miss you.

He was a food critic and was known to many as the French fry guy.
Many of the writers inspired by Glenn went on to be published.
He had a great sense of humor and sharp wit. He was great on the radio/podcasts etc. His voice put me in mind of Charles Kuralt and Rush Limbaugh. I will be missing these things about my brother.
He had so many talents. One was that he was able to talk to anyone. Shy or not you would find you were talking and enjoying every minute.
Glenn was really quite a guy. Will be missing him.

I don't think any human being in history was as supportive and generous as Glenn. He used so much of his time assisting and encouraging others. The knowl she he had on so many topics was amazing, but he was even more so. He touched the lives of so many people, and his loss is a profound one.

Many of his writing students are now published. He was also a food critic and known as the French fry guy. He worked as an editor. I think on podcasts and radio, his voice would put many in mind of Charles Kuralt and Rush Limbaugh. Also, one of his most endearing talents was his ability to talk to anyone, about anything, wether or not they were shy. Glenn was really quite a great guy. Will miss him.

My sincerest condolences to Glenn's family and friends. He was a kind, warm, gentleman. A source of inspiration and support for all those who knew him. He was the spirit of the South Jersey Writers' Group. He will be missed by all tremendously.
