AGE: 90 • Lindenwold
Lawrence W. Freas, Sr., of Lindenwold, on September 12, 2011, age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Anna M. (nee Traub). Devoted father of Lawrence W. Freas, Jr. of Ft. Pierce, FL, Lois L. Kreck of Lindenwold, Lynne Ann Jones of Clementon and Lorna Jean Messner of Vero Beach, FL. Grandfather of 12. Great grandfather of 30 and Great-great grandfather of 2.
Born in Conshohocken, PA. He was a Coast Guard Veteran of WWII. Resident of West Berlin for 42 years. He and his wife owned and operated Lar-Anne Dog Training and Grooming in West Berlin for 26 years. He was also a member of the Dog Sled Club of New England for 10 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Saturday 10 to 11 am at the Giosa Funeral Home, 171 Haddon Avenue, West Berlin, where his Funeral Service will be held at 11am. Entombment at Locustwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donation in his memory be made to the New Freedom Bible Church, P.O. Box 403 Berlin, NJ 08009. I was so sorry to learn of Larry's passing. He was the first friend that I made when I moved to NJ some 7 1/2 years ago. I shall miss him

Mr.Freas was also a regular attendee of the Salvation Army Congregate Meal Program in W.Berlin. He always came early & entertained us with dog stories & other adventures while he helped us set up for the daily routine. My condolences to the family & friends he's left behind as he undertakes his last sled race to a better place!

Lois, So sorry for you and your family's loss. I will always remember the sunshine your father brought into the bank whenever he arrived. He was always so happy and smiling.
