Michael Shaw Obituary
Mt. Laurel
A native of Mt. Laurel, is rejoicing with the Lord. He passed on April 27, 2011. He leaves behind many family and friends who will miss him dearly. Yet we are comforted by his faith in God and trust that he is now at peace with his Lord and Savior. He graduated from Holy Cross High School in 1978, where he lead his football team to a state championship, earned numerous honors, and eventually was elected to the schools Hall of Fame. He went on to play college football at Virginia Tech also inducted in the schools Hall of Fame, and in the professional ranks with the Pittsburgh Maulers of the USFL. An exceptional athlete but even better person, he touched many lives with his giving spirit.
Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Dickey, and is survived by his daughter, Krista Shaw, his father Joseph Shaw Sr., his 4 brothers, Joseph Jr., Brian, Tim, and Kerry, as well as his sister in laws Pam and Dianna and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family from 1-3 PM on Saturday May 21st at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt.73 and Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ 08053. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday at the funeral home. In Lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Shaw Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 364, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss of Michael.Life can be cruel sometimes We never met him but heard a lot about him .There is no words we can say to make the hurting stop the heart needs to heal on it's own.He is gone but never forgotten .Brian you and your family are in our thoughts.
