Paul P. Mickle

AGE: 89 • Gloucester Twp.

Paul P. Mickle, of Gloucester Twp., formerly of Philadelphia, on October 1, 2011. Age 89.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret "Peggy" (nee McShane). Devoted father of Paul and his wife Lynda Mickle of Levittown, Gloucester Township residents Christopher and his wife Bobbie Mickle and Sean and his wife Linda Mickle; Margaret "Meg" Mickle and her husband Brian Gibau of Maple Shade and Clare Mickle and her husband Mark Ciconte of Waterford Township, and the late Adin Mickle. Father-in-law of Sharon Mickle. Paul was the grandfather of ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Dollarton. He is also survived by more than 50 nieces, nephews and cousins.

Paul was an Army veteran of WWII and received a Bronze Star. He worked for the Philadelphia Bulletin for 40 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church and a former member of the choir. He was also an active parishioner with Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish and a Gloucester Township poll worker.

There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and 8:30 to 9:30am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Mass 10:30am Saturday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Luke's Church, Somerdale. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Chews Landing. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Paul's memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
