William D. Curry, age 79, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17th, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was known and treasured for his terrific sense of humor, his lifelong dedication to family and his passion for coffee and cigarettes! Born in Philadelphia, he was a lifelong resident of Maple Shade. Bill was an Air Force veteran having served during the Korean Conflict. He retired after 30 years with 3M Company. Bill was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help church and a Fourth Degree Knight, of Council #5714 Knights of Columbus.
Beloved husband of the late Leonaine, the highlight and truest love of his life, who passed away on May 10th, 2012 after 56 years of marriage. Loving father of Leonaine Curry-Wright (Rick), Bill (Susan) Curry, Diane Curry (Michael), and Duane (Lou Anne) Curry, devoted brother of Bernice (Kenneth) Yoder, brother-in-law of James (Jean) Lynch and Eileen Lynch, cherished grandfather of Bill, Julianne, Danielle, Gabrielle, Nicole, Marialena, Gianna, Laurie and Amy, great grandfather of Eli, also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23rd, 10AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help R. C. church, 236 E. Main St., Maple Shade. Interment-Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and visitation with the family on Wednesday evening 7-9PM at the MARK C. TILGHMAN FUNERAL HOME, 38 N. Forklanding Rd.,Maple Shade.
