To the family of Yvette V. Benjamin Mason,

I will truly miss Yvette. She was truly a wonderful young lady, daughter, sister, student, woman, wife, mother, grandmother, Goddaughter, friend, and colleague.

My relationship began with Yvette when I had the pleasure of teaching and working with her at Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a four year member of the marching band's Color Guard (flag squad). We had the best times and fun, especially at the football games on Saturday mornings. She will truly be missed but I know that she is happy and having a wonderful time with her mother Ann and all of God's Saints who have welcomed her into heaven.

Rest well from your labors on earth. . .

Love you always,

Dr. LaSandra Watkins

To the Mason children and Benjamin family,
No words can heal the sorrow you feel with the loss of your mother, sister, daughter and niece Yvette but we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Know that Yvette's smile, her laughter and her warmth are here with you and can never be taken. She has left a remarkable legacy in you all and I am honored to have known her from childhood and to have had many chances to talk and laugh with her. I pray for your continued strength in the Lord. Continue to give God the praise because he's able to carry you through!
