Theresa Ann Slater

AGE: 63 • Cherry Hill, NJ

Theresa Ann Slater of Cherry Hill and formerly of Woodlynne passed away on February 20, 2014 surrounded by her family after a brief and sudden battle with cancer. Daughter of the late Alfred and Sophie Jankowski of Camden. Beloved wife of Ralph Slater. Devoted and loving mother of Carolyn and Diana.

Theresa attended Audubon High School and became a nursing assistant at West Jersey Hospital. There she met her husband Ralph, whom she married in 1972 and with whom she raised two daughters. She resided in Woodlynne for about 26 years and worked as a home care nurse. She and family relocated to Cherry Hill in 2001 where she resided until her death. She was devoted to her family and her neighbors, who she considered dear friends. She worked hard and took care of everyone around her. She was known for her loving heart, strong spirit, and thoughtful cards and gifts. One of her special gifts was bringing joy to both young and old with her amazing holiday decorations for each and every holiday. She also loved her home and garden and worked very hard to keep them beautiful. She was so much to so many. She always put others first and tried to treat others the way she wanted to be treated.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Saturday morning from 9:30AM to 11:00AM at the BOCCO FUNERAL HOME, 1300 North Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Funeral services will follow at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Interment at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
