Linda L. Brady suddenly transitioned on Monday, July 28, 2014 following a long goodbye related to Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease and Dementia. Her love of life and beautiful spirit will live on through her two sons and four grandchildren.
Linda was born January 3, 1946 in Camden, NJ to the late Rene and Ethel DeBosscher. She grew up in Williamstown, NJ with her brothers Walter and Albert. She is survived by her older brother Rene DeBosscher of West Deptford. She lost both her parents in childhood, and was raised to adulthood by her surviving brother. In addition, she is survived by her niece Sharon LaClaire, who became her 'sister' for a lifetime after her parents' death.
Linda married the love of her life, Thomas Patrick Brady, Sr. on May 28, 1966. They moved to Levittown, New York where they began life together, and had two sons, Thomas, Jr, and James. Linda became a widow suddenly in September 1971, and moved back to New Jersey to raise her sons and continue her life as a single parent. She often worked two jobs to support her family and held many positions throughout her life as a factory worker at Struthers Dunn, a mail carrier, and as an EKG technician and phlebotomist for West Jersey Hospital. She loved to take walks, go camping and travel. Above all, she loved cats and dogs. Linda was a dreamer, and always thought life would be better in the Florida sunshine, but after several attempts at relocating, she missed her family too much and returned to South Jersey.
In addition, she is survived by Catherine Kinard, wife of Thomas of Glassboro, grandchildren Joseph Evans and Jessica Brady of Glassboro, and Adam Brady of Philadelphia, PA., and Marisa Brady, daughter of Ana Brady of Washington Township and James of Franklinville. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and sense of humor, as well as her loving heart.
Relatives and friends are invited to Linda's visitation on Saturday, August 2, from 1-3 p.m at the McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Washington Township (Sewell). Lifetime Celebration and Remembrance will follow at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to Camden County Animal Shelter, Blackwood, NJ, or the
