Donald "Mickey" Pennock

AGE: 80 • Audubon Park

Donald M. "Mickey" Pennock, on August 24, 2014, of Audubon Park. Age 80. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Ketterer). Devoted father of Donald Pennock (Elaine), Larry Pennock (Dawn), Patty Farley (Joseph), Linda Pennock and Michael Pennock (Colleen). Loving grandfather of Joseph, Scott, Christopher, Ashley, Dale, Noah and Hunter and great grandfather of Dominick. Dear brother of Charlotte Fallon, Harry Pennock and Sandra Brunges. Also survived by his brother-in-law James Ketterer and many nieces and nephews.

Mickey proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean War. He served as mayor of Audubon Park for 12 years, was also former Chief and President of Audubon Park Volunteer Fire Co. and a former manager for Audubon Park Little League. Mickey retired from Temple University after 43 years. He was a recipient of the Camden County Freeholders Martin Luther King, Jr. Award.

There will be a viewing from 9am to 12 noon Thursday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment Harleigh Cemetery, Camden. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mickey's memory to Audubon Park Volunteer Fire Co., 18 Road C, Audubon Park, NJ 08106.
