Guy Kenneth "Ken" Merryman

Of Sewell NJ May 25 2004 at age 73.
Survived by his beloved wife Lorraine (nee Strock). Father of Jean Gerber William Merryman and Robert Merryman. Father-in-law of John Gerber Catherine Merryman and Jeanne Merryman. Grandfather of Abby Gabrielle Jacob Jenna Lora and Michael.
A native of Collingswood NJ Mr. Merryman graduated from the Peddie School in Hightstown NJ. He received his Bachelors Degree from Rutgers Univ. in Camden and two Masters Degrees from Temple Univ. Mr. Merryman taught in the Hatboro-Horsham School District for nine years. He served as a history professor at Mansfield State Univ. in Mansfield PA. He served as a history professor at Camden College for 33 years and was a charter faculty member of the college.
Mr. Merryman was a former owner of Travel Group Consultants. He was an avid traveler and arranged many trips for students and residents of the Parke Place Community.
A long time resident of Washington Twp. Mr. Merryman served as a Board Member on the Washington Twp Board of Education and as Board President. A resident of the Parke Place Community in Washington Twp. he served as a Board Member and President of the Parke Place Community Assn.
Viewing will be on Thursday May 27 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the KELLEY FUNERAL HOME 125 Pitman Ave. Pitman NJ 08071. Funeral Mass will be Friday May 28 at 11:00am in the Church of the Good Shepherd Highland Ter. Pitman. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park Washington Twp. NJ.
