MEROLA, Monty J. Age 49 of Pedricktown, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 16, 2009 in Elmer Hospital. Born in Mannington on January 13, 1960, he was the son of Joseph Merola and Barbara F. Shaw. A graduate of Penns Grove High School, he worked with his brother and father at Bravo Packing in Carneys Point. He was a member of the PRCA and rodeoing was his passion. Monty is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lloyd; his father & step mother, Joe & Judy Merola; his mother & step father, Barbara & Ralph Shaw; his brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Jan Merola; his step brothers, Cory and Cody Clement; his friend & caregiver, Dicia Lloyd; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 8 PM Thursday, October 22nd in the H.T. LAYTON FUNERAL HOME, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 5PM to 8PM.
